I was born in Northern California and my parents loved hiking and camping in the Sierra Nevada Mountains that run along the border of California and Nevada so they named me after them. I spent my childhood years in Southern Oregon in a small community in the Cascade Mountain Range. I attended one of the last two room school houses in the country. We lived next door to Tub Springs State Park. This state Park is located on part of what use to be the Oregon Trail. We spent our weekends and playtime exploring the woods. In fourth grade we took a field trip to Yosemite National Park this is where I found my love for the National Parks and now I spend time volunteering in them on the weekends.
I have always found a great satisfaction in helping others and Insurance provides a great avenue for this. I appreciate that you are truly helping to protect others and their families from the unexpected and it is more than just a job it is a way of life.
